I want the young people of our area to feel safe, accepted and connected to our community.<\/span><\/p>\n I have recently been working with the current council members, local MPs, local business owners and the local police to come up with a solution to make sure that young people in our area have somewhere to go that they feel safe, looking into what we can do better as a community to host programs and activities for young people to do outside of school and to ensure that there is a police presence to combat youth crime.<\/span><\/p>\n Young people are the future of our local area and our nation, they deserve to be listened to attentively and I believe that they need to have a say into decisions that impact them. All members of our community no matter who they are, deserve to have access to mental health support and be able to do things that make them feel good within themselves whether it is a sport or hobby.<\/span><\/p>\n We need to create a community where there is better access to the things that make people feel better.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n If your struggling in life don\u2019t be afraid to speak up and ask for help.
